By applying for any position and bringing your own students including any current ones that you may have, your students get a benefit of a 100 SSI credit. Remote positions are available in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, ESL, Geography, Physics (up to K12) English (Kindergarten, TOEIC, SAT, AP, IELTS, TOEFL, Business English, GRE, GMAT) Speaking & Listening (college students may apply for speaking and listening program remote positions). Living in the US or any English language country is not a must, you can work from wherever you are and continue with us even when you move to another part of the world — teach your students and get paid! If you are new to the world of teaching online, don't worry, we'll help you. You will have training on how to use the system and teach online (no travel necessary). Qualification requirements: ⁃ Native English speaker including Philippines ⁃ University or college graduates/degree holder ⁃ TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, TKT, IDLT, STKT certificate (preferred) ⁃ Good communication skills ⁃ Reliable, Punctual, Energetic, Creative, Positive and Friendly ⁃ Excellent American English + Intonation (preferred) ⁃ Proficient in the use of Skylearn platform & Skype System requirements ⁃ Pentium, 1GHZ, or a faster computer. ⁃ Windows7, 8, 8.1,10 Vista, Windows XP, 2000, Me, 98, 512mb, or more RAM; Mac 05 X 10.4. ⁃ Internet Explorer ⁃Firefox, Chrome, Opera, High-speed Internet connection (DSL, Cable or Fiberoptic Internet ⁃ connection recommended minimum of 512kps upload and 2 ⁃ MPs download www.speedtest.net - check with your ISP. NO WIRELESS CONNECTIONS) ⁃ Headphone / Microphone Headset (USB preferred) ⁃ High-Quality Webcam (Creative or Logitech are recommended) Working conditions: ⁃ Work directly from your own home. ⁃ Work part-time, full-time or Flexi ⁃ Peak teaching times: 02:00 am-16:30 pm Monday to Friday and 05:00 am - 17:00pm Saturdays and Sundays ⁃ Class duration: 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, and 360 minutes (with a 5 minutes break time after every 25 minutes of teaching) ⁃ Teaching materials provided online ⁃ Internet web lesson room software provided ⁃ You will be given online training and workshops before starting ⁃ Students range from Kindergarten students to adults ⁃ You must have access to a PayPal account ⁃ Pay by PayPal at the end of every month. THERE IS A FIVE MINUTE BREAK FOR EVERY 25 MINUTES OF TEACHING (example: IF YOUR CLASS IS 60 MINUTES, YOU STOP AT 25 MINUTES AND START AGAIN AT 30 MINUTES AND STOP AGAIN AT 55 MINUTES. YOU GET PAID SOLELY FOR YOUR TEACHING TIME AND WE DO NOT CHARGE YOU ANY COMMISSION. YOU GET PAID FOR ALL TEACHING TIME, SO A ONE HOUR CLASS IS 50 MINUTES OF BILLABLE WORK) HOURS - Five days a week 8 hours a day. Full-time teachers can do split shifts by teaching in the morning and evening HOLIDAYS - Five paid holidays a year. (New Year, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and one flex day) Part-time positions: PAY - per 60 minutes. HOURS - Five days a week, five hours a day. By building your own league you make money from other teachers' lessons. By bringing your own students we won't charge you a commission. Build your own league of teachers You can join one of the current leagues and if there isn't any yet for the subject you teach no worries, create your own league of the subject, invite your friends and colleagues from school or your workplace to join your team, the league may have up to 16 members including yourself, By building your own league, you make 10% from other teachers' lessons and acting as support for your team, students, and parents. The leader is in charge of checking the team presence and the students’ progress(tools for that is provided ), the leader makes an extra 1%0 per hour per teacher in his/her team, imagine if each teacher makes $10 per hour you get $1 and X 15 = $15 X 8 hours a day means $120 extra per day X 22 days average you make $2640 without yourself teaching!! Also by bringing your own students, you may make more money with Skylearn, we won't charge you commission!! Imagine you pay now 25% to 40% commission to other platforms which you won't pay here, we do not charge any commission if you bring your own students from anywhere you may make up to 40% more in your teaching time. To get this benefit you have 3 months’ time calculated from the day that we accept you as a verified teacher for Skylearn, you may also earn more money by simply placing our banners on your Facebook, Instagram, and other social media, and see in real-time on your dashboard how much is the money that you and your partners are making. And if you, yourself teach as well, you may make $ 5280 22 days per month working!!
